Informations

Figari-Sud Corse Airport (IATA code: FSC) is the second-largest international airport in the Corsica region, after Ajaccio. Located in the southern part of the island, about 20 kilometers north of Bonifacio in the department of Corse-du-Sud, and approximately 30 kilometers from Porto-Vecchio, the airport is a key gateway for travelers looking to explore southern Corsica, including its stunning beaches, wild landscapes, and picturesque villages.

Figari Airport is well-served by several airlines offering regular flights to and from major French cities, as well as seasonal flights to various European destinations. It is an ideal entry point for those wishing to discover Corsica, particularly the southern coastline's beaches, mountains, and historical sites.

The airport terminal is modern and functional, providing all the necessary infrastructure to welcome passengers in comfort. Services such as shops, restaurants, car rental agencies, and parking are available for travelers. The airport is also well-connected to the rest of the region by road, making access to key tourist destinations easy.

Figari-Sud Corse Airport plays a strategic role in tourism in southern Corsica, especially during the summer season when demand for flights to this destination peaks. It serves nature lovers, hikers, water sports enthusiasts, and those seeking relaxation, while also being a starting point to explore iconic locations like Bonifacio, the Palombaggia beaches, and the mountainous region of Alta Rocca.

In summary, Figari-Sud Corse Airport is an important gateway for discovering the southern part of the island, offering excellent connectivity and easy access to some of Corsica's most beautiful regions.

CCI Corse

Today, the platform is served year-round by Air Corsica in association with Air France as part of public service lines to and from Marseille, Nice and Paris Orly. The first low-cost airline to land on the platform in 2009 was Ryanair. Since that date, low-cost traffic has increased tenfold in around ten years! From the end of March to the beginning of November (IATA summer season), the airport's air traffic is much higher thanks to the offer of additional seats provided by around ten airline operators in addition to Air Corsica and Air France. Figari-Sud Corse airport is also the most important in Corsica in terms of business aviation traffic (aircraft movements) with a new terminal dedicated to this clientele since June 2013.
