The city is renowned for its gastronomy, with regional products such as foie gras, southwestern vegetables, and Gaillac wines, one of the oldest wine regions in France.
Beyond its architectural heritage, Albi also offers a pleasant natural environment with numerous parks and gardens. The banks of the Tarn, accessible by foot or bike, provide a peaceful setting for walks and moments of relaxation. The city is also an excellent base for exploring the surrounding landscapes, such as the medieval bastides and the lush hills of the Tarn.
